Time for a holster

I am in DIRE need of a few holsters. I’ve been carrying my CZ-75 half-assed in a belly-band in the small of my back; it’s comfy therefore I’ve been putting off purchasing a “real” holster. It works with all my handguns; surprisingly, it’s the most uncomfortable when I carry my Kel-Tec P3AT. I’ve tried carrying my Kel-Tec in my bra; trust me – it doesn’t work very well. So I switched from wanting to carry it on my upper body to carrying it on my thigh until the Pin-Up Collection debuted.

I’ve decided that I will be purchasing one of each (and the guns to fill them with), starting with one that I’ve experimented creating myself, named the “Marilyn” because it’s so damn sexy and I always liked shoulder holsters. Unfortunately, that plan might have changed today and I will be ordering one for my CZ.

Why now? After all this time that I’ve been carrying my CZ, why now?!?!

*hangs head in shame*

This afternoon, upon getting out of my car, I took my gorgeous, brand-spanking-new cell phone (which I got a FAB deal on, btw), dropped it into my purse and placed my CZ into the side pocket. I gathered up the rest of my stuff, bounced into the house and let my purse drop to the counter. I hear the phone ring and take it out of my purse….

How did this happen?

It was perfect when I placed it ever so gently into my purse. The phone is less than a week old. A week! *heavy melodramatic sigh*

Lifting my purse off the counter, I realized…it was my CZ. It’s been jealous of the attention my new phone has been getting and it decided to position itself JUST RIGHT to land, butt first mind you, into my new phone.

Thank goodness it has a glass screen. Thank goodness it still works. It really is just cosmestic. BUT OH MY GOD!!!! WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING!?!?!?

I’ll tell you what I was thinking. Nothing. That’s what I was thinking. I normally put the phone in it’s own special padded pocket inside my purse. I normally do not carry my CZ in my purse (anymore) but on my body. I had too much to bring inside and did not want to run in & out of the house so I risked it. And my phone suffered.

I’m not mad. I’m not upset. It’s my own fault. Hopefully, the insurance I have on it will cover it; if not, I got such a great deal that if I have to pay a little bit more than I expect to in order to replace it…well…lesson learned: Buy a handgun, buy a holster.

Buy a handgun, buy a holster.
QFT. Just go ahead and factor that cost into the total for the firearm... it is going to happen anywise.

This is something I seriously need to do...buy a holster. I just can't seem to find one I like. I know it is only a matter of time before my gun crushes my phone like yours :(
